Overview
FPOSi (First Person on Scene – Intermediate) is a Level 3 regulated pre‑hospital care qualification designed for individuals who may be the first to respond in environments where immediate medical support is limited or delayed. The programme develops the capability to assess, prioritise and treat casualties under pressure, with a strong emphasis on real‑world application rather than classroom theory.
This course is suitable for personnel operating in high‑risk, remote or unpredictable environments, where rapid decision‑making directly affects outcomes.

Course Structure
- Duration: 4–5 days
- Delivery: Face‑to‑face, scenario‑led
- Assessment: Continuous practical assessment + final evaluation
- Certification: Level 3 FPOSi qualification
Entry Requirements
- A valid First Aid certificate (minimum EFAW) issued within the last 12 months
- Learners must be physically able to participate in practical casualty‑care scenarios
No prior medical or operational experience is required.
